Our Steiner Energy Management System
In 2013 we established an energy management system according to ISO 50001 enabling us to act in an even more efficient, environmentally conscious and cost saving way. This system was certified in December 2015 by the DakkS German Accreditation Body in cooperation with the DEKRA Certification GmbH Stuttgart.
The corresponding certificate is valid until August 2021 and is maintained by means of monitoring audits performed once a year.
Our energy management representative and his team are constantly evaluating adequate measurements to improve the energy efficiency.
Many measurements are taken including a cogeneration unit and a charging station for electric bikes. Many more processes to save energy have also been discussed and realised.
