Surface analysing technique image with FRT
The surface analyzing technique enables us to quantify roughness and structures; here as an example is a coin.
The detail of the photo displays the width of the tiny letters in addition to the height of the text in micrometer.
The new feature of simultaneous scanning in two dimensions, x and y direction, enables an evaluation in any other direction on the probe, e.g. in a diagonal of the surface . The technique of colour coding visualises the altitude. The red printed diagonal in the data is separated like a regular single line-scan and its data. The grey box offers the calculated roughness parameters along this line.
The colour coding visualises the altitude within the depicted area likely known from a map. The present image depicts the typical structure of an OPP base film.
